Our motto is "Quality not Quantity".
We hope you will find something you are interested in.   If you want to see how they grow out, look at Montana (6.5 yr old weight was 2665#) or Chucky (6.5 yr old weight was 2190#). We are ruthless with our knife.  These bulls really have to stand out at branding in order to make the bull list.  We make another cut on the bulls at preconditioning time.  Our calves are not creep fed.  The weights you see are from only grass & mom's milk.  They do not get put into "special pastures" for just the bull calves.  We handle our calves like commercial cattlemen.

Our whole herd was BVD-PI tested negative in 2007.  Bulls are BVD-PI tested

We fed the 2011/2012 bulls at Midland bull test, but their age is against them.  We were VERY happy with their gain & all of the test results.  Had they been older, I think they would have been a force to be reckoned with.  Due to this, our bulls are not hands on gentle like they used to be.

Thank you to our past bull buyers.  We appreciate your confidence in our program & your Business.

This past year has been very hard on our cattle.  The move was hard on the cows, the transition from range cattle to more confined.  Our weights the fall of 2014 were down 50# from our average, due to not being able to find grass for the cattle.  They were fed hay most of the summer then put into a lot with lots of weeds.  So please do not hold the lower weaning weights against them.  It was purely environmental.  The Bulls went to Midland @ 250# lighter than any other bulls in the pen & were the youngest calves in the test.  They are pretty green yet.  Keep all of that in mind when you are looking at them & their numbers.  Genetically, they are VERY good bulls.

This bull is a HERD bull prospect.  I lost his mother in January & she was the only full sister to the GREAT Montana bull.  He has a monster rib eye & should produce phenomenal females, just like his uncle.  I have high hopes for this boy.  He is long as a boxcar!!!!

His mother is a 3 yr  old daughter out of Ulmer.  She is out of a powerful female family that goes back to one or our old Limousin X cows.  They usually wean off some of the heaviest calves every year.  Her Grandmother was a Silver dam.  So he should have a powerful carcass at ultrasound.  I think he'd put some thickness into a set of Angus or Angus cross cows, while maintaining the moderate frame size. Even tho he has a smooth shoulder & small head, I wouldn't recommend him for heifers.  The female line he is out of is known for their heavier birthweights. The picture does not show how THICK he really is.

This bull is SUPER long & SUPER gentle.  I could scratch him in the pasture before he left the ranch & he hasn't forgetten he was a cake pet.  His mother is a BIG deep bodied Big Hipped cow (that had twins this year, & the 2nd set in 3 years), that I am sure she is homozygous black.  His sire was shown in Denver & now stands at the RAO Ranch in ND.

This young bull is doing really well at Midland.  He was the top gaining bull of my bulls in the first weigh up.  His mother is a deep bodied moderate framed Lennox daughter.  He is going to make a pretty impressive herd bull.  With the Backlash in his pedigree, should make some beautiful females in the future.

This bull is a HERD bull prospect.  He weaned off the heaviest of all of our bulls.  He has been wide topped & big hipped from day one.  His mother is my very best cow.  I have 2 of his maternal sisters in production & both are outstanding females.  You want a bull that will put pounds on your steers & maternal in your heifers, THIS bull is for you..... I would not recommend him for heifers.  If he was a PB, he would NOT be for sale.

This guy was the youngest bull in the pen at Midland & look at his gain.  Heifer bull extraordinaire.  His mother is a moderate framed line bred Stealth female.  Her sire was a proven short gestation bull.  This guy just keeps impressing me.  His numbers are amazing, his conformation is nice & his pedigree is outstanding.  If one of my herd bulls don't semen test, this is the bull I will be keeping for a replacement.

We purchased this bull to use on our heifers.  Unfortunately, I love his calves, but they are too big for heifers.  So we are offering him for sale to use on mature cows.  He will put a wide top & big hip into a set of calves.  We have used Stealth sons for many years so know what his calves will grow out like. He has been Semen Tested & Trich Tested & will be ready to go by the 15th of April.  He is not carrying any flesh, as he wintered out with the cows & has only been in on feed for about 2 weeks when this picture was taken.  Plus, he had just came back from the vet clinic, so a bit ganted up.  Good Disposition.
