Our motto is "Quality not Quantity".
We hope you will find something you are interested in.   If you want to see how they grow out, look at Montana (6.5 yr old weight was 2665#) or Chucky (6.5 yr old weight was 2190#). We are ruthless with our knife.  These bulls really have to stand out at branding in order to make the bull list.  We make another cut on the bulls at preconditioning time.  Our calves are not creep fed.  The weights you see are from only grass & mom's milk.  They do not get put into "special pastures" for just the bull calves.  We handle our calves like commercial cattlemen.

The Bulls are fed a head start medicated pellet at weaning then switched over to feeding an alfalfa based pellet with corn, barley & wheat.  They are a green pellet & all natural.  THE BULLS DO NOT GET PUSHED.  They are fed to gain about 2 -2.5#/day .   As of January 1st, the boys are on 10# of pellets & have free choice to Grass/Alfalfa hay mixture.  They grow out nicely, yet do not carry much fat.  We want them in good flesh, with sound feet to be able to go out & go to work for you.

Complete health records, Semen tests & transferred papers (if you want them) are furnished. Each bull is vaccinated for foot rot.  Bulls are cake broke.  Our bulls are super gentle & retain that gentleness throughout their life.  They load easily into a trailer & that stays with them as well.  Ultra sound Carcass Data gets taken, DNA testing is done, as well as color testing the double black bulls. All of our DNA testing is done by Pfizer Animal Genetics (formerly Bovigen LLC).  After visiting with the area rep to explain the new MVP results, the majority of our bulls are in the top 10 percentile of all of the testing done in their lab (except Angus-which have their own grouping) for Feed Efficiency.  Our whole herd was BVD-PI tested negative in 2007.  Bulls have been BVD-PI tested (All tested negative)

Thank you to our past bull buyers.  We appreciate your confidence in our program & your Business.

Bulls can be seen at the Ranch anytime.  Feel free to give us a call anytime with questions

All Bulls with "Spook" (Montana & Sterling) in their pedigree,  are a higher Percentage than their registration shows, as she was a Non Registered Salers X Cow

Super Thick Bull, with a smaller frame score.  His mother is a smaller framed black baldy.  She weaned off about 60% of her body weight.  He would make a tremendous heifer bull.  Take a look at him for your angus heifers.  This guy is super gentle.

This boy would make a tremendous bull to use on Red Angus, Charolais or Hereford Heifers or cows.  Due to his light color, not recommended for black hided cattle.  Super Top Line & Big Hip!!!!!!  This is Topaz's first calf & boy did she raise a good one.  Don't let his light color detour you from checking this guy out.   As he gets older he really looks like his sire.  He should be loaded with performance.   2nd best feed efficiency score.  This guy is possibly the best bull in the pen.  He really stands out & is very quiet.  He will be an asset to anyone who buys him.

This high percentage bull would work great on heifers.  Savanah has done a nice job on her 2nd calf.  This calf is super thick & would make a tremendous heifer bull.  Put him on red angus heifers & get all black calves.  Put him on a set of hereford heifers & you should get all black baldy calves.

His mother is a light red white faced cow that carries the simmental diluted gene.  This boy is a 1/2 brother to our young herd bull "Timber".  He appears to be a smaller frame than Timber.  His grandmother was sold with the short term cows this fall at age 13.  This maternal line is a proven producing bunch of females.  This boy got sick during that bitter cold weather in December, so his gain isn't as good as it should be.   He is about 100# lighter than the rest of the bulls, but he seems to be back on track now.  Really a nice bull.

This is a proven cross..... take a look here.  This guy is a meat wagon.  He was the heaviest calf in the 2009 crop.  He will put a heavy set of calves on the ground.  He has the best feed efficiency score in the offering.  His picture does not do him justice & true to this cross, he like his older brothers, is super gentle.  I really like this bull.

This Salers/Angus optimizer will really cross well on a set of angus heifers or cows.  His mother is a moderate framed red cow with a perfect udder. Piper is a full sister to the bull DY Rocky 548R & a half sister to our great herd bull "Big Red".  He has front pasture written all over him.  He has a huge hip & is really long bodied.  Super Nice Gentle Bull.

William is the youngest bull & our only PB being offered.  This boy is a lot thicker than his photo shows.  He would make a tremendous heifer bull or have performance enough to put on mature cows.  He is a very nice bull & quite gentle.  This calf did receive pellets most of the summer because his mother almost died this spring (encephalitic shock).  He is out of the same cow as Parker 440P.  Parker's daughters did an outstanding job with their first calves this year.

Urbaniak's mother is a full sister to Montana's mother.  He is a full brother to DY Torrington 745T & DY Miss Selena 645S.  He has herd bull written all over him.  This cross is a proven winner.   This boy has tremendous length, capacity & a big hip.  Check out his light birth weight.  Here again, with "Spook" & Chucky (who's daughters weaned off 1/2 of their body weight as 2 yr olds) in the pedigree, he will sire some phenomenal females & some tremendous feeder calves.  He is smooth polled.  We really like how he has turned out.  He has the largest REA per cwt of all the 08 bulls.

This Navigator grandson is a super nice young bull.   We pulled him from our yrlg sale offering, as we liked his conformation, disposition & performance.  He looks a lot like his sire.  He has a super top line, big hip & is out of a powerful female line.  He is super gentle & put a lot of performance in his calves.  We used him on the heifers & many of them weaned off over 600# calves.  I wish all of our bulls had his temperament (very laid back). Check out his son in the 2010 offering (Webster) & his half brother (Wichita).
